Speaker 2:

Hello, friend Chaplain Terry Warner here this is Silent Is Not Always Golden July, the 15th 2024, and the season and episode number is S4E29. Your foundation scripture will be James, chapter 3. The Holy Bible, as of September of 2023, is the most published book of all times, with five billion copies. That's B, it's with a B billion. The British and Foreign Bible Society estimate that 5 to 7 billion copies have been printed over a 1,500 year span. The Holy Bible is our divine creator, speaking to us and giving us divine guidance.

Speaker 2:

Mayor Baba in 1925, began 44 years of silence because a so-called Muslim woman gave him this directive in an effort to find his own spiritual destiny. You would think Jesus, who was the Son of God, also known as the Word of God, made flesh. While Baba's name definition means sponge cake, jesus' name definition is the word. So I'm going to nickname Bob here, baba here, sponge cake. Just saying. Just think how much more contribution to our planet could have been made by using his God-given talents and using words to communicate.

Speaker 2:

I was told when I was a child to be seen and not heard. I was supposed to be learning and gathering knowledge so that when I grew up, I could or would be a contributor to society and my own spiritual growth through the use of words and vocabulary. One great attribute of having the ability to speak was the freedom to worship and give glory to God. Not speaking is one thing, but making others do all the talking while you remain silent is, in my opinion, selfish, controlling and self-seeking pleasure. If you want to be like sponge cake, then go ahead and find yourself a mountain and live there by yourself. Do not try or expect me to cater to your idiocy. Well, chaplain Terry, why are you so set against being silent? Because being silent before God is a necessary attribute for finding the will and peace of God in your life. If we were supposed to be quiet, then spreading the gospel would be a sin. Salvation comes to the man who believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead, and confessing with your mouth leads to salvation. I'm not speaking about an individual who is unable to speak, but I'm referring to a 19-year-old that has been convinced that remaining silent at all costs robs himself and robs others of a God-given ability, and, because of his determination to remain silent for 44 years, he doesn't have a clue what he's actually done.

Speaker 2:

Look at Hebrews 4.12, for the word of God is quick or it's alive. Hebrews 4.12. For the word of God is quick or it's alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. You can't get that by being silent. God created this world. How With words? How does God do anything With words?

Speaker 2:

Jesus, the Son of God, is called the Word of God. His name is the Word. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. It is through the active speaking of the Word of God that the individual can control and hold back the curses and sins of the devil and use our tongue to bring about the blessings of God in our life. Joshua 24, 14 and 15, 14 says Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in truth. It doesn't say serve him in silence and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood that's the river Euphrates they're talking about and in Egypt, and serve yourself the Lord. And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose yourself this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are dwelling in. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Back to sponge cake and him giving the world at least this world or his world the silent treatment.

Speaker 2:

You understand that everything God made in Genesis 1 was made out of love, faith, goodness, compassion and all of God's characteristics, and each time God said it was good. Nowhere did he say silence was a way of making stuff or creating things. At the end of his creation he made man and at last he then said he said he blessed them and it was very good. How do you bless somebody? By saying something good about them. What does the word blessing mean? It means to say something good about something or somebody.

Speaker 2:

God has good words to say about us. The devil has curse words to say about us. Through the devil's curses, bad things and calamity come upon this earth and mankind. You can live the abundant life and victorious life if you know God's word and apply them to your situation. If you are not a child of God, it opens the door for the devil and his demons to come in and take you captive in his world of eternal damnation. You go from not speaking any words to speaking words that you don't know what you're saying.

Speaker 2:

Using the lord's god, using the lord's name of god, in vain. Why is it in vain to use curse words? Because you're invoking the name of jesus. You're invoking the name of god, and god is not the dammer. God did not invent sickness, create sickness, did not invent poverty, did not create poverty. He did not invent silence. He invented words. You should be justified by the words you speak or you should be condemned by the words you speak. Show me where poverty, sin and sickness is a blessing. You can't do it. God didn't create any of that. That all happened after the fall and came with the devil and his bunch. The devil is for division and destruction because of his everlasting hatred of God.

Speaker 2:

God is for having his creation live in an abundant life and fellowshipping with a like-minded individual. God loves us and wants us to succeed. He does not want you to go around confessing lack and want and need. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. Well, chaplain, terry, god will give you what you need, but he won't give you what you want. Oh really, you better study your Bible, because the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. That's want, that's not needs. Needs are in there and if we ask the Lord he'll give them to us. He'll meet our needs according to his riches and glory, by Christ Jesus. He doesn't meet them according to his silence. Silence from God to us is not having fellowship with him. God is for having his creation live an abundant life and fellowshipping with a like-minded individual. God loves us and wants us to succeed. God is not mad at us, not bothered to put out with us or given us some kind of sin, sickness or disease. To teach us something.

Speaker 2:

Deuteronomy 28, chapter, the 28th, the whole chapter, and pay attention to verse 61, which says Also every sickness and every plague which is not written in this book of the law, them will the Lord bring. In other words, he will cause to ascend or open the door upon you until you be destroyed. God's not the one putting sin, sickness and disease on you, that's the devil, jesus said. They asked. The leper came to him and said Lord, if you can heal me, I will be made clean. He said I will, period, be made clean, and he was healed. Be made clean and he was healed.

Speaker 2:

We have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2.16. For who has known the mind of the Lord that we may instruct him, but we have the mind of Christ. Is Christ full of sin, sickness, disease or poverty or lack or want? No, he's full of blessing and prosperity and winning. Jesus Christ has made unto me wisdom, righteousness and sanctification. 1 Corinthians 1, 30 and 31. 1 Corinthians 30 says.

Speaker 2:

1 Corinthians 1, chapter 1, verse 30 says but of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 31, that, according as it is written, he that glories, let him glory in the Lord. How are you going to glory in the Lord if you're being quiet? Well, chaplain Terry, I have a song in my heart. If you have a song in your heart and it's genuine, then it better put a smile on your face and it better bring others to Christ, or you better check what kind of music you're listening to. The God of all comfort who created everything for man is not a God of lack and poverty. You'll find the God of all comfort in Corinthians. The God of lack, poverty, sin and sickness came when Adam committed treason and gave it over to the devil. If it kills, if it steals, if it destroys, it is the devil John 10 10. If it is life and in abundance, it is God John 10.10.

Speaker 2:

Nowhere in God's word does it say we are running out of anything. God is more than enough. Of course we should use good common sense and help take care of this land and our earth and our planet and the universe. But lack and running out of oil, running out of gold, running out of this, running out of that. What we're running out of is idiot politicians printing money so fast that we can't survive. That's what we're running out of is paper. I digress Nowhere in God's Word does it say we're running out of anything.

Speaker 2:

The so-called green energy in a lot of instances is nothing but a power grab by an unelected official want to feed the lost, save them and help feed the world. All we have to do is give our hearts to Jesus Christ, read and study his word and do what it says. And his word says go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature and these signs shall follow them that believe in my name. They shall cast out demons. They shall tread upon serpents if they eat any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. Let's just stop a minute and let me re-quote this. Really good, hang on, okay, mark.

Speaker 2:

Chapter 16, starting in verse 15. And he said unto them this is Jesus talking. Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, and they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God, and they went forth and preached everywhere the Lord working with them.

Speaker 2:

We have got so many gadgets and quick things to do except study the Word of God, and our silence is deafening. Well, we may talk a lot, but our silence to God is deafening and we drown out the people that need to be saved. When are you going to get off of that church pew and get busy bringing others to Christ and giving them eternal life? Follow through me on these three points and one decision and then share it with others. Number one admit you are a sinner Romans 3.23,. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God Romans 6.23, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Speaker 2:

Number two believe that Jesus paid for your sin at the cross Romans 5 8, but God commended. In other words, god chose us and clearly proves his own love for us, but God commands us, his love toward us, and that while we were yet sinners, christ died for us. Romans 6.23 again clearly states that we were anti-God and carrying around our walking life a death penalty that we were incapable of escaping. God is talking about your soul. The death of the body is secondary and will die later through aging or sickness.

Speaker 2:

Number three confess Jesus is the Son of God and commit your life to him. Spongecake needs to listen to this. Romans 10, 9 and 10, that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God is raised from the dead, you shall be saved, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Now. Start learning to speak what the Bible says and start walking around and living in love and kindness and compassion and be an asset to this world not a liability, and bring Jesus to people that you don't know.

Speaker 2:

That is the way you become a Christian and further the gospel. And use the doing words. You have a blessed day.
