Chaplain Terry Warner:

Hello friend Chaplain Terry Warner here. This is Building the Temple. It's season four, episode 23. It will air on June 3rd 2024.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

I can always tell when the podcast is going to be good because the devil in the computer just worked overtime to mess with everything else going on. I had everything all laid out. It turned out to be too long, too dry and ho-hum and monotone reading, mispronouncing my word, losing my place. So I just deleted it and decided to come back and just speak to you today from the heart of me. So let's turn first to our foundation.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

Scripture will be 1 Chronicles 28, verse 19. We're talking about the temple of the Lord. This is talking about the physical temple of the Old Testament. At this time or at this, the Lord made me understand by the writing, by his hand upon me, all the work to be done according to the plan. That's David saying that the Lord specifically told him in writing how to build and understand all of this on the temple. Pretty amazing. So let's take a look at the temple.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

The temple back then was where God would be, the Holy of Holies would be, the Ten Commandments would be in the Ark of the Covenantvenant, in the chest there and everything, and then the high priest would go there once a year and reach atonement for the sins of the people. The new temple is the body of Christ. That's us, that's us believers, that's us disciples. We are the temple of God and consequently our instructions and our blueprints and our writings were put on us by God, the Lord, writing it in what we would be known or call the Word of God or the Holy Bible. We are the temple of God. Jesus is the head. We are the body. Jesus came to earth in a normal human body that God prepared for him. He could not come by natural birth and seed because that had been corrupted when Adam sinned. And you'll have to excuse it. I can't turn the messages off. That's why it's a dinging. I apologize, I've tried. Anyway, I got to get this done, so I make it out tomorrow, but I digress.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

Jesus left his home in glory, came down to earth as a man. So we have all man and all God dwelling on the earth and fulfilling the law by knowing the scripture. Defeated, the devil was made sin with our sins, was crucified, died, was buried and descended into hell to preach to those spirits in hell in the pains of death. He was released from the pains of death, when the debt penalty or when the penalty of debt of sins and everything had been paid, by three days and three nights in the pits of hell. God the Father raised him from the dead and seated him on his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principalities, powers, and given him a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should. Bow of things in heaven, things in earth and things under the earth. Bow of things in heaven, things in earth and things under the earth. Exalted him above. He cleaned the heavenly utensils and purified heaven and kicked the devil out.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

Consequently, he is the head and we are the body, and when we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, we become the body of Christ. But the head can't go anywhere unless the body takes him. And lately the body's been arguing and fighting about where to go, if to go. They've been fighting more over the color of the carpet or the design of the carpet and the color of the pews and what walls they want to paint and what denomination and what version of the Bible they use and what denomination and what version of the Bible they use. We need to follow Jesus, not Paul, not King James, not Tyndale, not Wycliffe. We need to follow Jesus. Once we follow Jesus, he will reborn us again no-transcript, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed by the word of God, and we become the body of Christ. And the body of Christ is what's holding back the evil on this earth right now. It's the church on this earth that's holding everything, not getting any worse than what it is. We're getting worse, that's for sure, and pretty soon the church is going to get taken out of here.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

Well, where's the sign of his coming? I don't know where the sign of his coming is. I don't really care where the sign of his coming is. The Bible says when you see all these things happening, look up, your redemption draw nigh. If you go to the end of Revelation, it tells you several times your redemption draws nigh. Get right with God. How do you do that? That you give your heart to Jesus Christ. It's very simple. Jesus Christ, please, Lord, come into my life and straighten this mess out. I've sinned, I've done things I shouldn't have done. Ask you to forgive me, cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe that God raised you from the dead and I put my faith and trust in you and I believe in you. Romans 10, 9 and 10 says it a lot better than I do. To get it done, just ask Jesus to come into your life and take over and take control. He will over and take control. He will. He's not here. He didn't come to condemn you. He came to save you. He's your way out, not your way around. He is your way out. Romans chapter. Romans 10, 9 and 10.

Chaplain Terry Warner:

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe, adhere to, trust in and rely on the truth that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes, adheres to, trusts in and relies on Christ and so is justified, declared righteous, acceptable to God, and with the mouth he confesses, declares openly and speaks out freely his faith and confirms his salvation. The scripture says no man who believes in him, relies on him and trusts in him will ever be put to shame or be disappointed, because God is your source and everything you need in this life and in the eternal life is to come. You have a blessed day in Jesus name. Amen. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen. Okay, here you go.
